Taking back of used accumulators and batteries
Our taking back duty as a trader:
As a trader we are legally obliged to take back batteries and accumulators free of charge which have been bought at our company. We kindly ask you to take up our offer and help us to keep clean our environment.
Your return duty as a consumer:
Batteries and accumulators don't belong into the rubbish. Since 1998, due to the battery decree, each citizen is obliged to dispose used batteries and accumulators only via commerce or at special collecting points. If you would like to return them to us, please make sure that we don't have to pay additional postage.
Batteries are marked with the  sign and with one of the following chemical symbols:
- Cd (=batteries contain cadmium),
- Hg (=batteries contain mercury) or
- Pb (=batteries contain lead).
Old electronic devices don't belong into the rubbish
Since 24th March, 2006 old electronic devices musn't be thrown into the rubbish. The regulation concerns all electronic and electric devices, from electric tooth brushes up to solariums, from washing machines up to digital cameras, it doesn't matter how old they are. Luminous means, fluorescent tubes and energy saving lamps included. Cities and communities take them back free of charge. You can return them at collection places or even a collection will be offered. Existing collection systems (such as value material yards and removal of bulky refuse) are used.
